I haven’t done some little tables in a while so I was excited to work on these. My parents picked them up for me at a sale – they had a good shape and were solid.
I chose to use milk paint on them for a different, more worn look. I mixed up a blue-green-teal using some colors I had. It’s a mix of Soldier Blue with some Tavern Green mixed in and a hint of Snow White and Federal Blue. I was justing using up lots of the colors I had left. I only did 2 coats on each of the tables and to make sure it stuck I added the bonding agent. You can see the wood come through and the variations in the colors which I love. Somehow the variation in milk paint gives a piece a certain feel without a whole lot of work on my part. I love that about it 🙂

Just beautiful! And I really need some small pieces to work on too. I have a garage full of dressers!
